Shepard Fairey Opening Tonight

Ubiquitous street artist Shepard Fairey will be hosting two opening receptions this week for his new show E Plurbis Venom. Shepard is best known for his OBEY Giant campaign, recent projects have included movie posters (Walk the Line), CD covers (Smashing Pumpkins) and guitars (Fender Joe Strummer Telecaster). The show will be huge, taking place in two locations.

Main Gallery in Chelsea:
Jonathan LeVine Gallery - 529 West 20th Street, 9th Floor
Opening reception Saturday, June 23rd from 6-9pm
Exhibition is on view from June 23rd to July 23rd

Second Gallery in DUMBO, Brooklyn:
81 Front Street @ Washington Street
Opening reception Thursday, June 21st from 7-10pm (RSVP Only)
Exhibition is on view from June 22nd to July 7th
