Summer Fridays at work! I’m heading over to the Mishka sample sale in a little bit. Saturday I’ll try to finally make it to the Astoria Beer Garden and possibly catch ?uestlove’s DJ set at Hiro later on. Sunday I will be grilling, eating ice cream and watching TV on the Radio at McCarren Pool.

Yes!! Summer Fridays are amazing. Kicking it off right now with a nice bike ride. Its suppose to rain this weekend so you need to take advantage of the perfect Friday weather. I might go down to South Street Sea port and catch the free Junior Boys show. I haven’t seen them in a while and their style has definitely grown. Tomorrow is all about Rififi’s, they’re having a benefit / party for our favorite bartender, Lindsey. She makes shots that taste like cheesecake. Also going to watch Sonic Youth from my roof, why pay 40 bucks? Of course Sunday is all about TV on the Radio and slip n slides.

I have to apply for a passport Saturday morning, so I’m going to do the responsible thing (hah!) and hit up FUN @ Studio B with Afrika Bambaataa (doing a DJ set) and Jimmy Edgar. Tomorrow evening I’ll be at McCarren Pool for Sonic Youth, then off to Rififi to party fucking serious for Lindsey. After that, I plan to head back to Brooklyn for Green Velvet @ Studio B alongside Alexander Technique, Trouble & Bass, Cut NYC and Modular DJs. Sunday, like everyone else, I’ll be boozing/sweating my hangover out back at McCarren Pool for TV On The Radio.
