Deerhunter played to a packed Cake Shop to close out the Chouette showcase on Friday. Luckily they didn’t have any of the sound problems that plagued the Papercuts set before them. They played a solid hour-long set without any of the antics of their Bowery Ballroom show on Wednesday. If you missed them during the festival, you can catch them at Shangri La in Greenpoint on Monday with No Age and Soft Circle. Shangri La is the same loft space that held the Chk Chk Chk release party earlier this year.
