Jay Reatard Playing Bowery Ballroom & Europa
We last saw Jay at Death by Audio in October and then successfully missed all ten of his CMJ showcases. He plays a furious non-stop 30 minute set leaving you a big sweaty mess, Pitchfork.tv graciously posted his entire set at Cake Shop during CMJ last year. We’ll definitely be checking him next week as he plays two shows in town, tickets are still on sale for both.
If you’re catching the Europa show in Greenpoint, The Habitat just opened a few blocks away on Manhattan Ave. with a 2-for-1 happy hour and cheap mac and cheese.
