We first became aware of hobo and train graffiti through old interviews with Margaret Kilgallen and Barry Mcgee. One of the influences they made specific references to was Bozo Texino, a mysterious train artist who scrawled simple, intriguing messages and imagery onto railroad surfaces across America.

Bill Daniel will be screening Who is Bozo Texino, a documentary about this graffiti artist at Maysles Films on Tuesday, May 6 2008 at 7:30pm.
