HELP US REBUILD A COMMUNITY THROUGH ART WITH ART!!!
The art sale will feature artworks by Swoon, Barry Mcgee, Daphne Fitzpatrick, Paper Rad, Maya Hayuk, Faile, Kiki Smith, Steve Powers, Martha Cooper, Bill Daniel, and many more. Events begin at 4pm on October 11th with Braddock, PA in Context, film screenings exploring the post-industrial city, followed by a barbeque/food transformation at 5pm and sale and raffles from 6pm-10pm. A closing dance party will be held on October 18th from 9pm-2am. Lectures and events examining the intersection of art and community in the post-industrial city will take place throughout the week. Transformazium is an emerging arts organization whose mission is to use the creative process and locally identified resources to transform ideas into tangible social and economic benefits.
